Executive Functions in Children and Youth Self-regulation of behaviour in the context of typical and atypical development, emphasizing assessment, intervention and prevention. Topics may include the development of executive functions from infancy through early adulthood and their impact on educational achievement, daily life, mental health and wellness. Lectures 3 hours per week Restriction: open to CHYS (single or combined), CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior) and CHHS, CHLH majors until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 8.0 overall credits. Prerequisite(s): CHYS 2P10 or CHYS 2P35 Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in CHYS 3V92. #
