Description
Self-Regulation and Moral Development How self-regulation develops, when it first emerges, and the implications of early self-regulation and moral development for children's future adjustment. Topics may include biological, cognitive, and social bases of self-regulation and conscience, difficulties in self-regulation and moral development and approaches to foster self-regulation. Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to CHYS (single or combined), CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior) and CHHS, CHLH majors until date specified in Registration guide. After that date open to CHYS (single or combined), CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior), CHHS, CHLH majors, GHUM and SOSC students until date specified in Registration guide. Students must have a minimum of 8.0 overall credits. Prerequisite(s): CHYS 2P10 . Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery.
