Child and Youth Studies in Indigenous Contexts Theories, methods and issues involved in studying children and youth from a multidisciplinary perspective. Topics may include the developmental psychology, history of childhood, family life, peer relations and children and youth with special needs within an Indigenous education context. Lectures, seminar, 72 contact hours. Restriction: open to BEd-Primary/Junior (Aboriginal) majors. Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in CHYS 1F90 .
