Estatística Matemática II Distribuições multivariadas, marginais e condicionais, independência, esperança, covariância, esperança condicional. Funções de variáveis aleatórias, técnicas de transformação, estatísticas de ordem. Distribuições especiais e limites. Prova do teorema do limite central. Estimação pontual: eficiência, consistência, lei dos grandes números, suficiência, teorema de Rao-Blackwell MVUE. Estimação por intervalo. Testes de hipóteses: teoria de Neyman-Pearson, teste da razão de verossimilhança, inferência bayesiana. Aulas teóricas, 3 horas por semana; laboratório/tutorial, 1 hora por semana. Pré-requisito(s): STAT (MATH) 2P03 e STAT (MATH) 2P82 ou permissão do instrutor. Observação: este curso pode ser oferecido em múltiplos modos de entrega. Functions of random variables, transformation techniques, order statistics. Special and limiting distributions. Proof of central limit theorem.
