빅데이터를 이용한 경제·사회 문제 해결 회귀분석, 준실험 방법 및 기계학습과 같은 통계 및 데이터 분석 기법을 사용하여 현재의 사회적·경제적 문제를 분석하고 해결책을 제시함. 주제는 소득 및 사회적 이동성, 기회 균등, 교육, 혁신 및 기업가정신, 보건의료, 사법 결정, 기후변화를 포함한다. 강의, 실습, 주당 4시간. 참고: 이 과목은 여러 전달 방식으로 제공될 수 있다. 전달 방식은 해당 학기 시간표에 기재된다.

Using Big Data to Solve Economic and Social Problems Analyzing and providing solutions to current social and economic problems using statistical and data analysis techniques such as regression, quasi-experimental methods, and machine learning. Topics include income and social mobility, equality of opportunity, education, innovation and entrepreneurship, health care, judicial decisions, and climate change. Lectures, lab, 4 hours per week. Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
