17세기 철학의 쟁점 특정 문제 또는 근대 철학의 고전적 시기의 중심적 사상가에 관한 특강. 개별 사상가(Descartes, Spinoza, Leibniz)를 중심으로 하지 않을 경우, 수업은 고전적 기원에서 문제(예: 인과성, 정신-신체 결합, 실체론) 발달을 추적함. 세미나, 주당 3시간. 선수과목: PHIL 1학점 또는 강사 허가. 주의: 이 과목은 다양한 수업 방식으로 개설될 수 있음. 수업 방식은 해당 학기 시간표에 기재됨. 이 과목을 수강 완료하면 이전에 PHIL 3V95에서 부여된 성적 및 학점이 대체됨.

Issues in 17th-Century Philosophy Special issue or a particular thinker of central importance in the classical period of modern philosophy. Where it does not focus upon one individual (Descartes, Spinoza, Leibniz), the course will trace the development of an issue (causality, mind-body union, the doctrine of substance) through its classical origins. Seminar, 3 hours per week Prerequisite(s): one PHIL credit, or permission of the instructor. Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in PHIL 3V95.
