17世紀哲学の諸問題 古典的な近代哲学の時代における特定の問題または中心的思想家に関する特別講義。個別の思想家（デカルト、スピノザ、ライプニッツ）に焦点を当てない場合は、古典的起源を通じて問題（因果性、心身の結合、実体の教義など）の展開を追跡する。セミナー、週3時間。前提条件：PHIL の単位1つ、または担当教員の許可。注：本講義は複数の提供形式で開講される場合がある。提供方法は該当学期の学事日程表に記載される。本講義の履修により、以前に付与された PHIL 3V95 の成績および単位は置き換えられる。

Issues in 17th-Century Philosophy Special issue or a particular thinker of central importance in the classical period of modern philosophy. Where it does not focus upon one individual (Descartes, Spinoza, Leibniz), the course will trace the development of an issue (causality, mind-body union, the doctrine of substance) through its classical origins. Seminar, 3 hours per week Prerequisite(s): one PHIL credit, or permission of the instructor. Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in PHIL 3V95.
