説明
初等、中等、及び高等教育における学術的文章に関する現代の研究と理論（1970年代以降）を研究し、大学でのライティングに重点を置く。学術的文章とは何か、文章が学習をどのように促進するか、指導が学生の執筆能力発達をどのように助けるかを考察する。
