本課程探討老化的社會、文化與心理層面。課題將包括照顧者問題、年齡歧視、安寧照護與政策對年長者的影響。學生將獲得在服務日益增長之年長族群的不同健康場域中實踐全人、以人為中心之觀點。

- 先修科目：HLTH 2003 及三年級身分或系所許可。

This course explores social, cultural, and psychological dimensions of aging. Topics will include issues such as caregiving, ageism, palliative care, and policy impacts on older adults. Students will gain perspective for holistic, person-centered practice in diverse health settings that serve the growing older adult population.
- Prerequisite(s): HLTH 2003 and third year standing or Permission of the Department.
- Also offered at the graduate level, with different requirements, as HLTH 5203 , for which additional credit is precluded.
- Three hour lecture /seminar.
