설명
이 강좌는 노화의 사회적, 문화적 및 심리적 차원을 탐구함. 돌봄, 노인차별, 완화의료 및 노인에게 미치는 정책적 영향과 같은 주제를 포함함. 학생들은 증가하는 노인 인구를 대상으로 하는 다양한 보건 환경에서의 전체론적·사람 중심적 실무 관점을 얻음.

- 선수과목: HLTH 2003 및 3학년 이상 또는 학과 허가.

- 대학원 수준으로도 개설되며 요건이 다름(HLTH 5203). 해당 과목은 추가 학점 인정 불가.
- 3시간 강의/세미나.

This course explores social, cultural, and psychological dimensions of aging. Topics will include issues such as caregiving, ageism, palliative care, and policy impacts on older adults. Students will gain perspective for holistic, person-centered practice in diverse health settings that serve the growing older adult population.
- Prerequisite(s): HLTH 2003 and third year standing or Permission of the Department.
- Also offered at the graduate level, with different requirements, as HLTH 5203 , for which additional credit is precluded.
- Three hour lecture /seminar.
