社會中的科學 I 基本問題與議題，理解科學本質與當前環境議題及其對社會之影響。今日世界主要環境問題相關之常見科學概念與理論。講課，每週3小時；研討，每兩週1小時。註：供非理工科學生選修。由化學系協調。本課程可能以多種授課方式開課。授課方式將列於學期學術時間表。修畢本課程將取代先前在 SCIE 1P50 所取得之成績與學分。

Science in Society I Basic questions and problems in understanding the nature of science in relation to current environmental issues and their impact on society. Most common scientific concepts and theories associated with major environmental problems facing the world today. Lectures, 3 hours per week; seminar, 1 hour alternate weeks. Note: for non-science majors. Co-ordinated through the Department of Chemistry. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in SCIE 1P50.
