社会における科学 I 環境問題とそれが社会に与える影響に関連して、科学の性質を理解するための基本的な問いと問題。今日世界が直面する主要な環境問題に関連する最も一般的な科学概念と理論。講義、週3時間；セミナーは隔週1時間。注：非理系専攻向け。化学学科を通じて調整される。本科目は複数の提供形態で開講される場合があります。提供方法は該当学期の学事時間割に記載されます。本科目の履修は以前に付与された SCIE 1P50 の成績と単位を置き換えます。

Science in Society I Basic questions and problems in understanding the nature of science in relation to current environmental issues and their impact on society. Most common scientific concepts and theories associated with major environmental problems facing the world today. Lectures, 3 hours per week; seminar, 1 hour alternate weeks. Note: for non-science majors. Co-ordinated through the Department of Chemistry. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in SCIE 1P50.
