Science in Society I 과학의 본질을 현재의 환경 문제 및 그 사회적 영향과 관련하여 이해하는 데 있어 기본적 질문과 문제들. 오늘날 세계가 직면한 주요 환경 문제와 관련된 가장 일반적인 과학적 개념 및 이론. 강의, 주당 3시간; 세미나, 격주 1시간. Note: for non-science majors. Co-ordinated through the Department of Chemistry. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in SCIE 1P50.

Science in Society I Basic questions and problems in understanding the nature of science in relation to current environmental issues and their impact on society. Most common scientific concepts and theories associated with major environmental problems facing the world today. Lectures, 3 hours per week; seminar, 1 hour alternate weeks.
