护理理论与临床实习：体验疾病与住院 护理、疾病与健康的入门概念。将心理-社会-运动方面的知识、技能和能力在为经历疾病与住院的成年患者提供护理实践中进行理论应用与整合。理论讲授，每周 3 小时。护理模拟实验室，每周 3 小时。护理临床实习，每周 9 小时。限制：仅向 NUSC 专业开放。先修课程：NUSC 1P10 和 1P12。注：学生需持有有效 CPR（BLS、Level C 或 HCP）证书并每年复证，N-95 口罩配戴性检测每两年一次，提供免疫接种证明（COVID-19、麻疹、腮腺炎、风疹；水痘；乙型肝炎；破伤风/白喉/百日咳；结核病）以及每年结核皮试。所有要求必须在临床实习期间仍然有效，并在秋季学期第一天之前提交给 Synergy Gateway Inc.（返校学生为 6 月 1 日）。未按截止日期提交将导致学生不得注册当学年的临床课程。临床实习可能安排在晚上和/或周末。前往临床实习的交通由学生负责。将收取实习费用。本课程可能以多种授课方式提供。授课方式将在学术课表的相应学期中列出。完成本课程将替代先前在 NUSC 1P14 或 1P16 中被分配的成绩。

Nursing Theory and Clinical Practicum: Experiencing Illness and Hospitalization Introductory concepts in health, illness, and wellness. Theoretical application and integration of psycho-social-motor knowledge, skills and abilities related to nursing practice in caring for adult clients experiencing illness and hospitalization. Theory, Lectures, 3 hours per week. Nursing Simulation Lab, 3 hours per week. Nursing Clinical Practicum, 9 hours per week. Restriction: open to NUSC majors Prerequisite(s): NUSC 1P10 and 1P12 Note: students require current CPR (BLS, Level C or HCP) certification and annual re-certification, N-95 mask fit testing every two years, proof of Immunizations (COVID-19, Measles, Mumps, Rubella; Varicella; Hepatitis B; Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis; Tuberculosis) as well as annual TB Skin Testing. All requirements must be valid through the clinical placement and submitted to Synergy Gateway Inc. by the first day of fall term for new students (June 1 for returning students). Failure to comply with the due date will result in student not being permitted to register in clinical courses for the current academic year. Clinical practicum may be scheduled in the evening and/or on weekends. Transportation to clinical placement is a student responsibility. A practicum fee will be applied. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade in NUSC 1P14 or 1P16.
