Teoria de Enfermagem e Estágio Clínico: Vivenciando Doença e Hospitalização Conceitos introdutórios em saúde, doença e bem-estar. Aplicação teórica e integração de conhecimentos, habilidades e capacidades psicossociais-motoras relacionadas à prática de enfermagem no cuidado de clientes adultos que vivenciam doença e hospitalização. Teoria, aulas expositivas, 3 horas por semana. Laboratório de Simulação em Enfermagem, 3 horas por semana. Estágio Clínico em Enfermagem, 9 horas por semana. Restrição: aberto a majors NUSC. Pré-requisito(s): NUSC 1P10 e 1P12. Nota: os estudantes necessitam de certificação atual de RCP (BLS, Nível C ou HCP) e recertificação anual, teste de ajuste da máscara N-95 a cada dois anos, comprovação de imunizações (COVID-19, Sarampo, Caxumba, Rubéola; Varicela; Hepatite B; Tétano/Difteria/Coqueluche; Tuberculose) assim como teste cutâneo de TB anual. Todos os requisitos devem ser válidos durante o estágio clínico e submetidos à Synergy Gateway Inc. até o primeiro dia do termo de outono para novos estudantes (1 de junho para estudantes que retornam). O não cumprimento da data de entrega resultará na não permissão para o estudante se matricular em cursos clínicos para o ano acadêmico atual. O estágio clínico pode ser agendado à noite e/ou nos finais de semana. Transporte até o local do estágio é responsabilidade do estudante. Será cobrada uma taxa de estágio. Este curso pode ser oferecido em múltiplos modos de entrega. O método de entrega será listado no horário acadêmico, no período aplicável. A conclusão deste curso substituirá a nota anteriormente atribuída em NUSC 1P14 ou 1P16.

Theory, Lectures, 3 hours per week. Nursing Simulation Lab, 3 hours per week. Nursing Clinical Practicum, 9 hours per week. Restriction: open to NUSC majors Prerequisite(s): NUSC 1P10 and 1P12 Note: students require current CPR (BLS, Level C or HCP) certification and annual re-certification, N-95 mask fit testing every two years, proof of Immunizations (COVID-19, Measles, Mumps, Rubella; Varicella; Hepatitis B; Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis; Tuberculosis) as well as annual TB Skin Testing. All requirements must be valid through the clinical placement and submitted to Synergy Gateway Inc. by the first day of fall term for new students (June 1 for returning students). Failure to comply with the due date will result in student not being permitted to register in clinical courses for the current academic year. Clinical practicum may be scheduled in the evening and/or on weekends. Transportation to clinical placement is a student responsibility. A practicum fee will be applied. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade in NUSC 1P14 or 1P16.
