인권과 장애 장애인의 인권 증진 및 보호와 관련된 이론적·응용적 쟁점. 주제에는 유엔 장애인권리협약(United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities), 온타리오 장애인 접근성법(Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act), 포용적 교육에 대한 영향, 개인 중심 서비스 계획 및 자기 옹호 등이 포함될 수 있음. 세미나, 주당 3시간. 제한: 우등(4학년) 승인된 CHYS(단독 또는 결합) 및 CHYS BA(우등)/BEd(초등/초등하위) 전공자에게 개방. 참고: 이 과목은 여러 방식으로 제공될 수 있음. 강의 방식은 해당 학기 학사 시간표에 기재됨.

Human Rights and Disability Theoretical and applied issues related to the promotion and protection of human rights for persons with disabilities. Topics may include the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, implications for inclusive education, person centred service planning and self advocacy. Seminar, 3 hours per week. Restriction: Open to CHYS (single or combined) and CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior) majors with approval to year 4 (honours). Note: This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
