Introduction to Media Computation (also offered as IASC 1P00 ) Programming by example, designing and debugging of programs, encoding and manipulation of text and graphics, file processing, simple HTML and automatic generation, and manipulating and parsing of web pages. Lectures, 3 hours per week; lab, 2 hours per week; tutorial, 1 hour per week. Restriction: not open to COSC (single or combined), BCB, CAST, CNET and DASA majors.
