How practices and understandings of production, circulation, consumption, and property vary cross-culturally. Relevant theoretical debates including those among formalist (neo-classical), substantivist, Marxist, and interpretive approaches over the applicability of capitalist thinking.
- Prerequisite(s): third-year standing or permission of the instructor.
