Advanced Microeconomics Advanced micro theory. Topics may include theory of consumer behaviour, theory of the firm, imperfect competition, general equilibrium and welfare economics, behaviour under uncertainty, risk and asymmetric information. Lectures, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to ECON (single or combined), ECAN, BBE, INPE majors and ECON minors until date specified in Registration guide. Prerequisite(s): ECON 2P21 or 2P23 (minimum 70 percent); ECON 3P21 (minimum 70 percent) and 3Q91 (minimum 70 percent) or permission of the instructor.
