Historians and the Age of Religious Wars and Absolutism, 1559-1715 Historians' approaches to religious division in continental Europe. Political, religious and social developments in France with comparisons to conflict in other European countries. Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to HIST (single or combined), HIST (Honours) /BEd (Intermediate/Senior) majors and minors until date specified in Registration guide.
