Kısıtlama: Kayıt rehberinde belirtilen tarihe kadar CHYS (tek veya birleşik) ve CHYS BA (Onur)/BEd (İlkokul/İlköğretim) ana dallarına açıktır. CHYS 2V91 2023-2024: Spor Bağlamlarında Çocuklar ve Gençler Çocuk sporcularla ilgili teorik ve uygulamalı spor konuları. Konular arasında sporun tanımı, antrenman bağlamları, erişilebilirlik ve uyarlamalar, engellilik, ırk, cinsiyet ve cinsellik, uzun vadeli sonuçlar, saha çalışması ilişkileri, etik konular ve eğitim geliştirme, uygulama ve değerlendirmeye ilişkin konular yer alabilir. Kısıtlama: en az 5.0 toplam krediye, en az %60 genel ortalamaya ve Bölüm iznine sahip öğrencilere açıktır. Önkoşul(lar): bir Sosyal Bilimler bağlamı kredisi. Not: tüm öğrenciler için deneyimsel bir bileşenin tamamlanması gereklidir. Deneyimsel ortama ulaşım öğrenci sorumluluğundadır. Öğrenciler, polis kontrolünün Bölüm tarafından en geç 1 Mayıs tarihine kadar alınmasını sağlamak amacıyla Ocak ayında ilgili polis servisine başvuru yapmalıdır. Zayıf grubu taraması içeren tatmin edici polis sicil kontrolü Bölüm tarafından alınmadan ders kaydı izni verilmeyecektir. Polis sicil kontrolü ile ilgili maliyet öğrenci sorumluluğundadır. Öğrenciler ayrıca deneyimsel bileşenle ilişkili zorunlu eğitimi (ör. Sağlık ve Güvenlik, AODA) ve diğer prosedürleri tamamlamaları istenebilir. Tamamlanmış, imzalanmış Deneyimsel Ortam Doğrulama formu (Katılım Kaydı) sunulmaması veya çevrimiçi ders bileşeninin tamamlanmaması durumunda ders için F notu verilecektir. Bu ders birden fazla sunum biçiminde verilebilir. Sunum yöntemi ilgili dönemde akademik zaman çizelgesinde listelenecektir. #

Restriction: open to CHYS (single or combined) and CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior) majors until date specified in Registration guide. CHYS 2V91 2023-2024: Children and Youth in Sports Contexts Theoretical and applied issues in sports relating to child athletes. Topics may include definition of sports, training contexts, accessibility and accommodations, disability, race, gender and sexuality, long-term outcomes, field work relationships, ethical issues, and issues in training development, application, and evaluation. Restriction: open to students with a minimum of 5.0 overall credits, a minimum 60 percent overall average and permission of the Department. Prerequisite(s): one Social Sciences context credit. Note: completion of an experiential component required by all students. Transportation to the experiential setting is a student responsibility. Students must submit an application to the appropriate police service in January, to assure police check is received by the Department no later than May 1. Permission for course registration will not be granted until the satisfactory police record check with a vulnerable sector screening is received by the Department. Cost associated with the police record check is a student responsibility. Students may also be required to complete mandatory training (i.e., Health and Safety, AODA) and other procedures associated with the experiential component. Failure to submit the completed, signed Experiential Setting Verification form (Attendance Record), or failure to complete the on-line course component, will result in a grade of F for the course. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. #
