Fundamentos em biologia celular, fisiologia e anatomia humana, com conceitos quantitativos e exemplos que se relacionam às subespecialidades da engenharia biomédica. Introdução às especialidades em engenharia biomédica incluindo bioinstrumentação, bioimagem, biomecânica, biomateriais e engenharia biomolecular com exemplos aplicados.
