Foundations in cellular biology, physiology, and human anatomy, with quantitative concepts and examples that relate to the subspecialties of biomedical engineering. Introduction to specialties in biomedical engineering including bioinstrumentation, bioimaging, biomechanics, biomaterials, and bio-molecular engineering including applied examples.
