Domestic and Intimate Violence (também oferecido como CHYS 3P98, CRIM 3P98 e WGST 3Q91) Visão crítica das teorias e respostas legais à violência familiar e íntima, pesquisa sobre essas formas de abuso e a resposta da polícia, dos tribunais e de outros componentes do sistema social e legal. Aulas expositivas, seminário, 3 horas por semana. Restrição: aberto a majors SOCI (simples ou combinado), CHYS (simples ou combinado), CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior), CRIM e WGST (simples ou combinado), menores CRAS, SOCI, CRIM, CHYS e WGST até a data especificada no Guia de Registro. Os estudantes devem ter no mínimo 7.0 créditos no total ou 2.0 créditos SOCI além de SOCI 1P90 e 1P91 (1F90). Pré-requisito(s): SOCI 1P90 e 1P91 (1F90). Observação: este curso pode ser oferecido em múltiplos modos de ensino. O método de oferta será listado no horário acadêmico, no período aplicável.
