Domestic and Intimate Violence (aussi offert sous CHYS 3P98, CRIM 3P98 et WGST 3Q91) Aperçu critique des théories et des réponses juridiques à la violence familiale et intime, des recherches sur ces formes d’abus et de la réponse de la police, des tribunaux et d’autres composantes du système social et juridique. Cours magistral, séminaire, 3 heures par semaine. Restriction : ouvert aux majeures/majeurs SOCI (simple ou combinée), CHYS (simple ou combinée), CHYS BA (Honours)/BEd (Primary/Junior), CRIM et WGST (simple ou combinée), CRAS, mineures SOCI, CRIM, CHYS et WGST jusqu’à la date spécifiée dans le guide d’inscription. Les étudiantes/étudiants doivent avoir un minimum de 7.0 crédits au total ou 2.0 crédits SOCI au‑delà de SOCI 1P90 et 1P91 (1F90). Prérequis : SOCI 1P90 et 1P91 (1F90). Remarque : ce cours peut être offert selon plusieurs modes d’enseignement. Le mode d’enseignement sera indiqué dans l’horaire académique, pour le terme applicable. L’achèvement de ce cours remplacera la note et les crédits antérieurement attribués dans WGST 3Q91.
