Nationalism and Ethnic Politics Theories of nationalism, ethnic conflict and secession. Use of case studies to analyze civil war, genocide and the political mobilization of ethno-national groups. Seminar, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to POLS (single or combined) and INPE majors with either a minimum of 14.0 overall credits and a minimum 70 percent major average or approval to year 4 (honours). Note: POLI 2P31 and POLI 2P32 (2F30) strongly recommended. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. #
