설명
현대 캐나다의 퍼스트 네이션스 캐나다 원주민의 역사로서 식민주의, 선교사와의 상호작용, 조약과 원주민 주권, 교육 및 기숙학교, 보건 및 의료정책, 활동주의, 구술 서사, 토지 청구 및 자원 착취 등을 포함한다. 세미나, 주당 3시간. 제한: 등록 안내서에 명시된 날짜까지 4학년(우등)으로의 승인(우등 과정)에 해당하는 HIST(단일 또는 결합) 및 HIST(우등)/BEd(중등/고등) 전공자에게 개방되며, 그 날짜까지 해당 승인이 없는 경우에는 강사와 학과장의 허가가 필요하다. 참고: HIST 2Q97 권장. 이 강좌는 여러 전달 방식으로 제공될 수 있다. 전달 방식은 해당 학기의 학사 시간표에 기재된다.

First Nations in Modern Canada History of Aboriginal people in Canada including colonialism, interactions with missionaries, treaties and Aboriginal sovereignty, education and residential schools, health and health care policies, activism, oral narratives, land claims and resource exploitation. Seminar, 3 hours per week. Restriction: open to HIST (single or combined) and HIST (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior) majors with approval to year 4 (honours) or permission of the instructor and Chair until date specified in Registration guide. Note: HIST 2Q97 recommended. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term.
