Science and Society II 과학, 기술 및 사회 간의 상호관계 소개. 주제에는 과학 및 기술의 본질, 유전자 공학, 제약 산업 및 식품 첨가물이 포함된다. 강의, 주당 3시간; 세미나, 격주 1시간. Note: for non-science majors. Co-ordinated through the Department of Chemistry. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in SCIE 1P51.

Science and Society II Introduction to interrelationships between science, technology and society. Topics include the nature of science and technology, genetic engineering, pharmaceutical industry and food additives. Lectures, 3 hours per week; seminar, 1 hour alternate weeks.
