설명
조합론 입문 계수법, 포함배제법, 비둘기집 원리, 순열 및 조합, 비배열(derangements), 이항 전개. 이산 확률 및 그래프 이론 입문, 오일러 그래프, 해밀토니안 사이클, 색칠, 평면성, 트리. 강의 주당 3시간; 튜토리얼 주당 1시간. 선수과목: 4U 수학 2학점 또는 강사 허가. 참고: 이 과목은 여러 전달 방식으로 제공될 수 있다. 전달 방식은 해당 학기 시간표에 기재된다. 이 과목의 이수는 이전에 부여된 MATH 2P71의 성적과 학점을 대체한다.

Introduction to Combinatorics Counting, inclusion and exclusion, pigeonhole principle, permutations and combinations, derangements, binomial expansions. Introduction to discrete probability and graph theory, Eulerian graphs, Hamilton Cycles, colouring, planarity, and trees. Lectures, 3 hours per week; tutorial, 1 hour per week. Prerequisite(s): two 4U mathematics credits or permission of the instructor. Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in MATH 2P71.
