Introduction to Combinatorics 数え上げ、包除原理、鳩の巣原理、順列と組合せ、脱配置（不動点のない置換）、二項展開。離散確率とグラフ理論の導入、オイラーグラフ、ハミルトン閉路、彩色、平面性、木（ツリー）。講義、週3時間；チュートリアル、週1時間。前提条件：4U数学の2単位または担当教員の許可。注：本コースは複数の履修形態で提供される場合があります。提供方法は該当学期の学事予定表に記載されます。本コースの修了は MATH 2P71 で以前に取得した成績と単位に置き換わります。

Introduction to Combinatorics Counting, inclusion and exclusion, pigeonhole principle, permutations and combinations, derangements, binomial expansions. Introduction to discrete probability and graph theory, Eulerian graphs, Hamilton Cycles, colouring, planarity, and trees. Lectures, 3 hours per week; tutorial, 1 hour per week. Prerequisite(s): two 4U mathematics credits or permission of the instructor. Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit obtained in MATH 2P71.
