説明
哲学入門：論理的思考の性質、神の存在、価値の客観性、人生の意味、自由意志・決定論と責任、心と身体の関係、不朽性、知識の可能性。本コースは専攻学生向けではない。
条件および詳細
- 次の科目との重複登録による追加単位は認められない：FYSM 1208（現在は提供されていない）、FYSM 1211 および PHIL 1000。
- 講義週3時間。

Introduction to philosophy: the nature of logical thinking; the existence of God; the objectivity of values; the meaning of life; free will, determinism and responsibility; the relation between mind and body; immortality; the possibility of knowledge. This course is not intended for Majors.
- Precludes additional credit for Precludes additional credit for FYSM 1208 (no longer offered), FYSM 1211 and PHIL 1000 .
- Lectures three hours a week.
