مقدمة في الفلسفة: طبيعة التفكير المنطقي؛ وجود الله؛ موضوعية القيم؛ معنى الحياة؛ الإرادة الحرة، الحتمية والمسؤولية؛ العلاقة بين العقل والجسد؛ الخلود؛ إمكانية المعرفة. هذه المادة غير مخصصة للطلبة المتخصصين.
الشروط والإجراءات
- يمنع الحصول على ائتمان إضافي مقابل FYSM 1208 (لم يعد يُقدَّم)، FYSM 1211 وPHIL 1000.
- محاضرات ثلاث ساعات أسبوعيًا.

Introduction to philosophy: the nature of logical thinking; the existence of God; the objectivity of values; the meaning of life; free will, determinism and responsibility; the relation between mind and body; immortality; the possibility of knowledge. This course is not intended for Majors.
- Precludes additional credit for Precludes additional credit for FYSM 1208 (no longer offered), FYSM 1211 and PHIL 1000 .
- Lectures three hours a week.
