シミュレーションを問題解決のための道具として扱う。乱数生成、一般的な離散シミュレーション手順:イベント表と統計収集。シミュレーションデータの解析:点推定と区間推定。信頼区間。SIMSCRIPT、MODSIM、その他の言語を用いたモデリング、シミュレーション、および問題解決の概観。
