中東における奴隷制 1800年以降の中東における奴隷制度の比較分析。奴隷貿易の組織化、奴隷制の廃止、奴隷の解放に関する政治的、経済的、社会的、法的イデオロギー。セミナー、週3時間。制限：履修はHIST（単専攻または複合専攻）およびHIST（Honours）/BEd（Intermediate/Senior）専攻で、年次4（オナーズ）への承認がある者、あるいは登録ガイドに指定された期日まで講師および学科長の許可がある者に限る。注：本科目は複数の開講形態で提供される場合があります。開講方法は該当学期の学期時間割に記載されます。
