Introduction to Computer Architecture Evolution of digital computer. Computer organization including functional units, instruction cycle, control, buses and memory. Instruction types and memory access, instruction sequencing and call/return. Basic assembly language programming. Lectures, 3 hours per week; lab, 2 hours per week.
