中東の女性 中東現代社会における女性の役割と貢献を形成する宗教、文化、経済、政治の重要性。伝統やイスラム法、ならびに西洋文学における中東女性のイメージとその変化する地位。セミナー、週3時間。制限：履修はHIST（単専攻または複合専攻）およびHIST（Honours）/BEd（Intermediate/Senior）専攻で、年次4（オナーズ）への承認がある者、あるいは登録ガイドに指定された期日まで講師および学科長の許可がある者に限る。注：本科目は複数の開講形態で提供される場合があります。開講方法は該当学期の学期時間割に記載されます。

Women of the Middle East The significance of religion, culture, economy and politics in shaping the role of women and their contributions to modern Middle Eastern societies. The changing status of Middle Eastern women, and their images in tradition and Islamic law as well as Western literature. Seminar, 3 hours per week.
