Comparative Judicial Systems Global expansion of judicial power and the role of courts in democratization, rights protection, political centralization, and resolving societal conflict. Domestic as well as supranational courts from around the world are considered, representing both common law and civil law systems. Topics include the success and failure of the rights revolutions, the judicialization of politics, court reform, and justifications for judicial review. Seminar, 3 jam per minggu. Pembatasan: terbuka untuk jurusan POLS atau FPAC (mandiri atau gabungan) dengan minimal 14.0 kredit keseluruhan dan rata‑rata jurusan minimal 70 persen atau persetujuan untuk tahun 4 (honours). Catatan: POLI 2P31 dan POLI 2P32 (2F30) sangat disarankan. Mata kuliah ini mungkin ditawarkan dalam berbagai mode penyampaian.
