An introduction to major ideas in the Humanities, through some of the most influential and exciting texts from Antiquity to the present day. Works may include the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita, Homer’s Odyssey, Plato’s Republic, Dante’s Inferno, Machiavelli’s The Prince, Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Shelley’s Frankenstein.

Prerequisites

  • Prerequisite(s): Students in the Bachelor of Humanities are not eligible to register in this course.
