Description

Movement Programming for Children Experiential learning with young children in movement, play and adaptive contexts. Direct contact experiences using a practicum component built into the course. Inclusive and developmentally appropriate movement programming. Engagement with solo, observational, parallel, associative and collaborative/cooperative play. Lectures, field work, 4 hrs per week. Restriction: open to BKin, BPhEd, BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Intermediate/Senior), BPhEd (Honours)/BEd (Junior/Intermediate) and BSc (Kin) majors until date specified in the Registration guide. Prerequisite(s): KINE 1P93 or permission of the instructor Note: field experience is required. A police record check with a vulnerable sector screening may be required at the student's expense. This course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. #
