Parenting: 'Family', Images, Issues and Patterns (also offered as SOCI 2Q90 and WGST 2Q90 ) Parenting as it is theorized/analyzed in interdisciplinary feminist scholarship and portrayed in fictional or autobiographical writings and art forms. The historical, socio-cultural, sexual and political construction of gender and families. Lectures, seminar, 3 hours per week. Restriction: students must have a minimum of 4.0 overall credits.
