Description

Sport and Organizational Theory Organizational theory applied to sport organizations in the public, commercial and non-profit sectors. Topics may include organizational effectiveness, strategy, structure and design, decision making, organizational change and innovation and interorganizational relationships. Lectures, 3 hours per week. Restriction: Open to SPMA majors. Not open to BBA or BAcc majors. Prerequisite(s): SPMA 1P91 (minimum 60%) and 1P92 (minimum 60%). Note: this course may be offered in multiple modes of delivery. The method of delivery will be listed on the academic timetable, in the applicable term. Completion of this course will replace previous assigned grade and credit in OBHR 2P51 and 2P52 .
