Brock seeks feedback on its first EDID Action Plan (community consultations in Oct 2026)
Brock University is holding community consultations in October 2026 for its first EDID Action Plan, organized around nine transformative goals. More than 270 community members have contributed so far. The plan will serve as a four‑year framework aligned with the institutional strategy to guide EDID work through 2030 and is expected to be finalized later in 2026.
In October 2026 Brock is continuing campus consultations to shape its inaugural Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Decolonization (EDID) Action Plan. The plan sets nine transformative goals with corresponding actions to be tracked through annual reports posted on the university website. It is designed as a four‑year framework, complements Brock’s Indigenous Strategic Plan by addressing anti‑Indigenous racism within institutional frameworks, and aims to strengthen accountability and inclusive practices. Consultation sessions are scheduled throughout October with online registration.
