UQAM: marketing student’s idea turns the cafeteria’s ‘Egg Month’ international — runs through Oct. 30, 2026

Source publication : 2026-10-13 · Université du Québec à Montréal

Through Oct. 30, UQAM’s Hubert‑Aquin cafeteria features an international ‘Egg Month’ menu inspired by marketing student Ashly Winny Paul. Her team won the jury’s coup de cœur; the 2026 edition includes a CA$600 prize and four CA$100 awards.

For its fifth edition, Egg Month showcases global egg dishes (tamagoyaki, pad thai, ramen, fried rice) at the Hubert‑Aquin cafeteria. Seven student teams from the Promotion des ventes course proposed promotional plans; Ashly Winny Paul’s concept was adopted by Campus Food Services after winning the jury’s favorite prize. The Fédération des producteurs d’œufs du Québec partners on the initiative; since 2020 this partnership has funded over 50 bursaries for student‑athletes, two paid internships and university competitions. Graphic identity was created by Éliza Lefebvre‑Breton.
