Tertiary level students are allowed to work while studying in Canada. Upon graduation, students are able to obtain an open work permit with no restrictions on the type of employment and no requirement for a job offer for three years. The Canadian govt. is moving towards the implementation of the Canadian Experience Class which will make it easier for students to apply to immigrate to Canada.
