課程說明
講課/實驗課程，介紹遺傳機制及基因結構、組成與功能的本質，涵蓋古典孟德爾遺傳學及現代分子遺傳學。強烈建議生物學主修學生在第二學年修讀此課程。
先修條件
- 先修條件：BIOL 1103 與 BIOL 1104。
條件與方式
- 不予重複學分：BIOL 2106（不再開設）及 BIOL 2107。僅當 BIOL 2106 在 BIOL 2104 之前修畢時，才會給予 BIOL 2106 之學分。
- 先修條件：BIOL 1103 與 BIOL 1104。
- 每週授課三小時，實驗或導討三小時。

Lecture/laboratory course on the mechanisms of inheritance and the nature of gene structure, composition and function, introducing both classical Mendelian genetics and modern molecular genetics. It is strongly recommended that this course be taken by Biology majors in their second year of study.
- Prerequisite(s): BIOL 1103 and BIOL 1104 .
- Precludes additional credit for Precludes additional credit for BIOL 2106 (no longer offered) and BIOL 2107 . Credit for BIOL 2106 will only be given if taken before BIOL 2104 .
- Lectures three hours a week, laboratory or tutorial three hours a week.
