課程說明
介紹中世與早期近代東斯拉夫世界，包括基輔俄羅斯的城邦、蒙古征服、莫斯科的興起、村莊生活與農奴制，以及俄羅斯十八世紀的「偉大」君主。強調新興的專制與普通百姓的生活。
條件與方式
- 不允許對 HIST 2600（不再開設）取得額外學分。
- 講座/小組每週三小時。

An introduction to the medieval and early modern East Slavic world, including the city-states of Kyivan Rus’, the Mongol conquests, the rise of Moscow, village life and serfdom, and Russia’s 18th century “Great” monarchs. Emphasis on emerging autocracy and lives of ordinary people.
