調查從二世紀中國到戰後日本的亞洲藝術。比較宮廷藝術家與都城藝術家的再現策略與邊陲地區的藝術家。檢視權力在墓葬、宮殿與戰爭宣傳中的表述，以及個體與怪誕者的描寫。
