學生完成若干實驗，實驗由現代光學、全像術、原子物理、核能光譜學、輻射等領域中選出。將教授儀器製作技術的教學。
先修條件
- 先修科目：PHYS 2007 或（PHYS 2202 與 PHYS 2604）或系所核准。
條件與方式
- 不得重複修習以獲得額外學分：不得重複修習 PHYS 3007、PHYS 3009。

Students complete a small number of experiments selected from modern optics, holography, atomic physics, nuclear spectroscopy, radiation, etc. Instruction on instrumentation building techniques will be given.
- Prerequisite(s): PHYS 2007 or ( PHYS 2202 and PHYS 2604 ) or permission of the department.
- Precludes additional credit for Precludes additional credit for PHYS 3007 , PHYS 3009 .
- Laboratory, six hours a week.
