課程說明
介紹線性方程組，二維與三維的幾何詮釋，矩陣導論，向量加法與純量乘法，線性相依，矩陣運算，秩，逆矩陣，可逆矩陣定理，行列式。以商業相關之示例說明。
先修條件
- 先修科目：安大略省12年級資料管理數學；或安大略省12年級數學：高等函數，或 MATH 0005，或同等課程，或經學院核准。
條件與方式
- 與下列課程不得重複修讀以獲取學分，但不可替代以下課程：BIT 1001、BIT 1101、BIT 1201、MATH 1102（已不再開設）、MATH 1104、MATH 1107、BUSI 1704（已不再開設）、MATH 1109（已不再開設）、MATH 1401 / ECON 1401、MATH 1402 / ECON 1402、MATH 1152。此課程不接受作為下列任何學位課程之（替代）學分：B.Math.，以及 B.Sc.、B.C.S.、B.Eng.、B.I.D.。

- 每週講課三小時，每週討論一小時。

Introduction to systems of linear equations, geometric interpretation in two and three dimensions, introduction to matrices, vector addition and scalar multiplication, linear dependence, matrix operations, rank, inversion, invertible matrix theorem, determinants. Use of illustrative examples related to business.
- Prerequisite(s): Ontario Grade 12 Mathematics of Data Management; or Ontario Grade 12 Mathematics: Advanced Functions, or MATH 0005 , or equivalent, or permission of the School.
- Precludes additional credit for Precludes additional credit for , but is not an acceptable substitute for: BIT 1001 , BIT 1101 , BIT 1201 , MATH 1102 (no longer offered), MATH 1104 , MATH 1107 . BUSI 1704 (no longer offered), MATH 1109 (no longer offered), MATH 1401 / ECON 1401 , MATH 1402 / ECON 1402 , MATH 1152 . This course is not acceptable for (substitute) credit in any of the following degree programs: B.Math., and also B.Sc., B.C.S., B.Eng., B.I.D.
- Lectures three hours a week, tutorial one hour a week.
