常見成岩礦物之化學、光學與結晶性質，並介紹火成、沉積與變質岩的常見礦物組合。
先修條件
- 先修科目：ERTH 1002、CHEM 1001 與 CHEM 1002。

- 不予重複學分：不予重複學分 ERTH 3202（不再開設）。
- 先修科目：ERTH 1002、CHEM 1001 與 CHEM 1002。
- 每週二小時講課及每週三小時實驗。
